Player Ice Time
 

Yale Youth Hockey Association seeks to provide each player equitable/fair opportunity in practice sessions and games to develop his or her full hockey potential. However, the Coach/Coaches have full discretion in Games to adjust lines, shifts and individual player ice time.

Over the course of a season individual player ice time is expected to be equitable/fair. Our goal is develop each players skating, skills and hockey acumen throughout the season. 

Coaching decisions may be driven by game specific situations, player capabilities, strengths and weaknesses, attitude, work rate, adherence to game plan and disciplinary issues.

Please adhere to the Yale Youth Hockey "24 Hour Rule". Do not address issues prior to, during or following a Game. Wait 24 Hours and request an opportunity to discuss your issue with the Head Coach.
